With the stupendous success of Marvel’s ‘Logan’ and recent superhero flicks in general, the expectations with ‘Wonder Woman’ is sky high. DC’s last outing ‘Batman v Superman’ didn’t do as well as the studio might have hoped for. So, ‘Wonder Woman’ automatically becomes a film on which a lot is riding on. Does DC still have magic left? Well, we will come to know about that soon, but for now let’s enjoy the latest trailer of ‘Wonder Woman’ which looks exciting. But if we have learnt anything from watching trailers, it is that don’t trust them.
The synopsis of ‘Wonder Woman’ reads: In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home to bring an early end to the war.
‘Wonder Woman’ is directed by Patty Jenkins, written by Allan Heinberg & Geoff Johns, from a story by Heinberg & Zack Snyder and Jason Fuchs, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Saïd Taghmaoui and Ewen Bremner.
