Woody Allen has been hit-and-miss lately. Every once in a while he will come up with films like ‘Blue Jasmine’ (excellent) and ‘Midnight in Paris’ (wonderful), but his other two recent films ‘To Rome With Love’ and ‘Magic in the Moonlight’ were kind of misfired. One of the things to really look forward to with ‘Irrational Man’ is the presence of Joaquin Phoenix, who is acting in a Woody Allen film for the first.
