Naomi Watts is coming back to the horror genre after a really long time. She was brilliant in ‘The Ring’ and going by this trailer it seems like she has picked up from where she left. Giving her company in the film is ‘Room’ star child actor Jacob Tremblay.
Penned by Christina Hodson, and directed by Farren Blackburn (episodes of “Daredevil” and “Luther“), the story follows a woman and her deaf foster child, who must come together to face a terror that comes knocking at their door. Here’s the synopsis:
A child psychologist living an isolated life in rural New England is struggling to put her life back together after the loss of her husband. She’s a strong woman whose courage is put to the test when she’s caught in a deadly storm, trapped in her home, and cut off from the world around her.
