‘Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun’ revolves around the life of a high-school boy named Iruma Suzuki, who despises his life. He tries his best to make his life a little better but his cruel parents force him to pick up part-time jobs to keep the family afloat. And despite everything that he does for them, they never appreciate him for his efforts. But all of this turns out to be just the beginning of his problems. One day, his parents make a deal with the devil and sell him to him. With no options, he is forced to move in with the demon and live with him. With this, he starts getting really concerned about his future and wonders if his life will ever be normal again. Meanwhile, the demon who adopts him always wanted a grandson and takes good care of him.
The demon king also sends him to school for demon kids, hoping that he would someday be able to be just like him. In the beginning, Iruma keeps his head low and keeps to himself just to make sure that he gets no unnecessary attention. But soon, he comes to know that the demon king who adopted him is actually the principal of the school. In an unknown world where he is completely surrounded by demon kids, Iruma struggles to keep himself out of trouble and tries his best to keep his real human identity a secret. But the more he does this, the more he struggles to get himself out of all the hilariously bizarre situations that are thrown at him.
