Kono Oto Tomare Season 3 Release Date: When will it premiere?
The first season of ‘Kono Oto Tomare’ premiered on April 7, 2019, and with a total of 13 episodes, it finished airing on Jun 30, 2019. This was then followed by a second season which aired from October 6, 2019 to December 29, 2019. Its original manga has a total of 20 published volumes and has sold over 2.3 million copies. So clearly, ‘Kono Oto Tomare’ has a huge fan base and the demand for its season 3 is pretty high. Unfortunately, as of now, no official announcements regarding its release have been made.
Although there seems to be enough source material content for another season, the conclusive ending of season 2 seems to suggest that the anime will not be renewed. Even so, if the creators of the series are already considering it for another season, we can expect ‘Kono Oto Tomare Season 3’ to release sometime in July 2021. Kono Oto Tomare Plot
Takezou becomes a senior at high school and all the other senior members of his Koto Club end up graduating. In order to keep the legacy of the club alive, he decides to look for new members who can play the instrument. The school’s infamous delinquent, Kudo, tries to forcefully become a member of the club and for obvious reasons, Takezou feels quite apprehensive about him. Even so, he gives him a chance and also takes a few other members under his wing. While the members of the club have different backgrounds and stories, what glues them together is their passion for the instrument and their determination to win the National Koto Competition.
