It’s easy to criticize Ecchi anime because most of them are designed to lure only certain kinds of viewers. But we forget a few other Ecchi anime out there offer a lot more than cheap fan service. ‘Super Hxeros’ happens to be among the rare few that use fan service as a narrative device, not as a tool to get more views. I wouldn’t say that it’s among the best anime of this season, but it’s enjoyable nonetheless. With that said, if you’ve watched its first season, read on further to know all about its season 2.
Super Hxeros Season 2 Release Date: When will it premiere?
The first season of ‘Super Hxeros’ premiered on July 4, 2020, and with a total of 12 episodes, it finished airing on September 26, 2020. ‘Super Hxeros’ is another addition to the long list of Ecchi anime that have come out this year. However, unlike most other similar anime, it has been appreciated for its creative premise and relevant use of fan service. Although many viewers appreciated its art style, others are not content with its excessive censorship and dull action scenes.
Overall, ‘Super Hxeros’ has received poor ratings on most platforms, which suggests that the demand for its second season is very low. And considering that it is heavily censored, most anime viewers would probably prefer the original manga over the anime. From the looks of it, ‘Super Hxeros’ is nothing more than a promotional anime series for the source material which has 11 published volumes so far and is still in publication.
Even the anime’s conclusive ending suggests that its creators have no plans of renewing it for another season. So those who are hoping for it to return with season 2, will probably be left disappointed. In an unlikely scenario, if it gets renewed, we can expect ‘Super Hxeros’ season 2 to release sometime in 2022 or later. Till then, you can check out some other well-known Ecchi anime.

Super Hxeros Plot: What is it About?
‘Super Hxeros’ is set in a world that was hit by a massive disaster five years ago. As a result of this calamity, alien libido-devouring creatures took over the planet and either killed humans or drained their emotions. But amid all the chaos there is still some hope. A group of heroes uses a device called “Super Hxeros” which allows them to use the power of Ecchi (H) and erotic power (Ero) to defeat the monsters.
Enjou Retto and Hoshino Kirara are the protagonists of the series, who were once childhood best friends, but drifted apart after encountering an alien. Luckily for them, another alien encounter brings them together and with a twist of fate, they end up joining the team of heroes who fight the monsters. They are the planet’s only hope and they must use all of their Erotic Power to conquer the beasts.
