Why Women Kill Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
In season 2 episode 6, titled ‘Dangerous Intruder,’ Bertram comes home to his wife, who suddenly brings up his vocation, praising him for his talent. Slowly, she then proceeds to drop the bomb. Although Rita is fine and healthy, Alma states that her husband Carlo is sick. Elsewhere, Rita is desperate to push Catherine under the bus, so she asks Scooter to take the next step. The devious lady further pushes Dee to keep her pregnancy a secret, but Dee insists that Scooter, the father of her unborn child, must know. Dee also breaks off her relationship with Vern without letting him in on her problem.
At Alma’s place, Grace begins to talk about Carlo and Rita’s past life before his sickness got the better of him. She mentions that he used to beat her up, which becomes the reason why Bertram finally agrees to do the job. Rita ultimately spills out the truth about Dee’s pregnancy and her embarrassing deal with Scooter. Speaking of which, Catherine gifts him a set of diamond cufflinks on his birthday. The couple then decides to stop at Rita’s place, where the other couple has already set up base. At the venue of the predetermined murder, Bertram stealthily makes his way to Carlo and jabs a needle into his neck.
However, before they can escape the house, Alma sees a car approaching which prevents her from doing so. It is revealed that the man in the vehicle is Vern, who manages to take pictures of Catherine and Scooter getting intimate. In the process, he also might have captured Alma, who failed to sneak out at the right time. As Catherine walks up to her dad, she is horrified to find him dead. Vern proposes to Dee, saying that he doesn’t mind raising another man’s child. In the end, Alma prepares to frame Rita for the murder.
