Why Women Kill Season 2 Episode 8 Recap

In episode 8, titled ‘Murder, My Sweet,’ Rita awaits her trial. Her lawyer wants to place all the blame on Isabel, and Rita agrees, thinking it might be her only chance to go home. Catherine rummages into Rita’s possessions, looking for evidence that might veritably expose Scooter. Bertram is annoyed at his wife for staging this convoluted mess. It is even more astonishing for Dee to watch Rocco repeatedly dig into the flower bed in the garden. A few moments later, Isabel enters the garden club looking for Alma and threatens to leak the photo if she isn’t rewarded abundantly.

At Rita’s place, Otto walks in on Scooter burning all the evidence. Looking back at the time when Isabel heroically planted herself between Rita and Harry’s violent fight, Rita begins to have second thoughts about framing Isabel. Dee finds out about the missing showpieces from Mrs. Yost’s nephew, and she suddenly remembers seeing the victim’s exquisite French pitcher standing in her own living room. Vern calls Isabel, requesting her to give away the evidence while Bertram is arranging for money to pay her off.

Later on, Alma and Bertram show up at Isabel’s, asking for the photo, and Isabel quickly secures the money. As expected, she decides to keep the photo to herself, and almost instinctively, Alma jabs a needle into her neck. Before driving away, they leave a suicide note on the table that is discovered by Vern seconds later. The letter contains a startling confession by Isabel, who has actually now been framed for Carlo’s death. In the end, Rocco leads Dee to the garden revealing Mrs. Yost in a battered state. Dee immediately rushes inside to call Vern.
