Vampires vs. the Bronx Sequel Release Date: When Will It Premiere?

‘Vampires vs. the Bronx’ premiered on October 2, 2020, on Netflix. The movie has just been released, so there is no official news yet about a sequel. However, Netflix has a stellar track record of investing in projects that deal with young-adult adventures. ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘The Babysitter’ franchise are great examples of this. The movie is already receiving positive reviews from the critics, so it’s safe to presume that the Netflix executives will want the cast and crew to return for a second round. Vampires vs. the Bronx Sequel Cast: Who Is in It?

The three protagonists of the film, Miguel, Luis, and Bobby are portrayed by Jaden Michael, Gregory Diaz IV, and Gerald W. Jones III, respectively. Miguel’s crush in the film, Rita, is played by Coco Jones. Method Man is cast as Father Jackson. Sarah Gadon plays Vivian, the commander of the vampires. Long-time SNL cast member Chris Redd plays Andre, while The Kid Mero essays the role of Tony, the father-figure to all three boys. The cast also includes Vladimir Caamaño, Shea Whigham, and Adam David Thompson. MCU and ‘Avatar’ actress Zoe Saldana makes a cameo appearance in the opening scenes of the film.

If ‘Vampires vs. the Bronx’ sequel ever goes to production, Gadon, The Kid Mero, Whigham, Thompson, and Saldana will not return as their characters have been killed in the first film. The rest of the cast will probably reprise their respective roles.

Vampires vs. the Bronx Recap

As the title indicates, the film is set in the Bronx and revolves around three friends who find out that the real estate business that is buying all the properties in the neighborhood is a front for vampires seeking to establish their home and hunting ground. with the adults not believing them, they must take the matter into their own hands. They figure out that the vampires can be killed by exposure to sunlight, garlic, holy water, The Eucharist, and wooden stakes. It is revealed that their commander is Vivian, the beautiful blonde who first appeared in the opening scenes. The boys armed themselves with vampire hunting gear and raid their hiding spot with Rita. They easily kill Vivian’s four minions but she turns out to be too powerful. This is when the entire community arrives and attacks the monster together. She threatens to kill Bobby and tries to turn him into a vampire but is killed by Miguel with a wooden stake. The film ends with the neighborhood celebrating the victory at a block party.

If ‘Vampires vs. the Bronx’ sequel ever gets made, expect a new group of vampires to arrive in the Bronx. As Vivian says, she is leading an expedition, indicating that there are others like her in her homeland. Miguel’s relationship with Rita might begin in the second film. Bobby, who has no desire to join a gang any longer, might return to school.
