Levi plays Benjamin Ettenberg, the love interest of Rachel Brosnahan’s Midge. His character, Benjamin is an unmarried doctor who pretends like he is not at all interested in Midge’s seducing spells. But, he falls eventually and the two starts a sparkly affair.

But, to the utter disappointment of Levi fans, Midge declares her decision to be alone, and spends the last night before her six-month world tour with Joel! Benjamin is all set to marry Midge and his fans are really excited about it. Season 2 of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘ ends in such a cliffhanger. DC’s ‘Shazam!’ has Zachery Levi as the titular hero. The movie is touted as director David F. Sandberg’s passionate love letter to everything that is DC. According to various reports, the movie hides a lot of visual references to ‘Man of Steel,’ ‘Batman v Superman’ and ‘Justice League.’ ‘Shazam‘ tells the story of a huge superhero fanboy named Billy Batson.

The 14-year-old Billy, played by Angel Asher, is abandoned by his teenage mother and has been through more than half a dozen foster homes. The restless boy unleashes his discontent on people around him and ends up as a street urchin. His destiny turns when the boy crosses paths with the 3,000 years old sorcerer from Ancient Egypt.

Djimon Hounsou plays the archaic Wizard who is searching for his successor, is impressed by the boy’s charm and innocence. The sorcerer transfers all his powers and virtues to Billy, All the boy had to do is to utter the spell ‘Shazam!’ to instantly turn into a superhero, Zachery Levi! ‘Shazam!‘, which chronicles Billy’s dual life as the superhero Zachery Levi outside and a teenage kid on the inside. is lined up for an April 5, 2019 release.

3. Tangled: The Series (2017 – )

‘Tangled: The Series’ is Disney’s animated Disney Channel Original Series based on Disney’s 2010 movie ‘Tangled.’ The series brings together the lovers of ‘Tangled,’ Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert, played by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi. The plot unfolds during the time between the events of the movie, ‘Tangle,’ and its 2012 sequel short ‘Tangled Ever After.’ Renamed as ‘Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure‘ from its second season onwards, the series also features Eden Espinosa, James Monroe-Iglehart, and Jeremy Jordan as Cassandra, Lance, and Varian respectively.

4. Star Wars: Detours (2019 – )

‘Star Wars: Detours’ is an animated comedy which the Lucasfilms announced in 2012 as a part of Star Wars Celebration. But, the project slipped into development hell afterwards. According to reports, the series explores mundane chores of the universe’s civilian folks. In their tiny worlds, there are no galaxy wars, no Empires to strike back or no attacking clones. Instead, the series focuses on the common people in the universe and their everyday problems. But, however silly they are compared to the Empire and clones, those problems pose threats in the form of rude bounty hunters, crazed Ewoks and a Dark Lord of the Sith. As the tagline of ‘Star Wars: Detours‘ rightly implies, ‘it is the other side of the stars, between the wars.

Earlier, Seth Green and the Robot Chicken team made around 39 episodes ‘Star Wars: Detours’ as an animated spoof series. But, after Disney bought Lucasfilm in a billion dollar deal, the new parent company pulled the plug of the series and the 39 episodes ready to air went onto oblivion. Now that Disney is unleashing the full potential of ‘Star Wars’ with the Disney+ streaming service, ‘Star Wars: Detours’ may get a second turn.
