10 Worst Movies With Biggest Star Cast

5. Ocean’s Twelve

This 2004 directorial of Steven Soderbergh is the sequel of Ocean’s Eleven and part of Ocean’s Trilogy. It stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy García, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, and Bernie Mac. The film was the tenth highest grosser of 2004 but still was nowhere close to its predecessor. The dialogues feel strained and the events feel forced for anyone to understand. It certainly deserves to be at the bottom of Steven Soderbergh’s list of films.

4. Pearl Harbor

Based on the true events of attack of Japan on the island of Pearl Harhor, Michael Bay’s film is nowhere near to the reality. The filmmaker tried to too much with too little on the page. Despite having a great cast at his behest, including the likes of Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale, Josh Hartnett, Cuba Gooding Jr., Tom Sizemore, Jon Voight, Colm Feore and Alec Baldwin, Bay couldn’t do justice a great historical event that would change the course of World War II.

3. New Year’s Eve

Another big flop from director Garry Marshall, just a year after his previous film Valentine’s Day. New Year’s Eve is again a romantic comedy with beautiful cast but confusing stitched stories. It has A-grade cast led by Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Ludacris, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker and Alyssa Milano among others. Garry focuses entirely on one day, this time on New Year’s Eve. With the same script of love, affection and confusion. The film received five Razzie Award nominations including Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actress, Worst Screenplay and Worst Screen Ensemble.

2. Valentine’s Day

Directed in 2010 by Garry Marshall as a romantic comedy with an epic cast, including debutant Taylor Swift, Valentine’s Day proved to be a complete failure. Except some scenes, the entire film was very confusing. It features Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, and Taylor Lautner among others. The storyline focuses on the struggles of the characters for their love on the Valentine’s Day making the theme very confusing. Characters meet each other, some know each other, they do break-up and are one way or other are connected to each other. The story-telling is messy and the less said about the acting skills of Taylor Swift the better.

1. Movie 43

Featuring almost on every list of worst films ever, Movie 43 is one of the most hated films ever made. Directed by the bunch of fourteen eminent directors including Steven Brill, Peter Farrelly and Will Grahamand with an entire cast of A-listed actors, the flick is nothing more than a disappointment to the film industry. Having Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Gerard Butler, Naomi Watts and Justin Long among others, Movie 43 has fourteen stories each starring different set of actors. It tries to be a comedy film but it ends up becoming a collection of unfunny and crass comedy scenes. It was rejected by different production houses due to its storyline which ultimately proved be true. Though one may find some scenes creative, but the way stories are stitched together doesn’t work at all. The film bagged three Razzie awards to prove its worth.
