She made a sensational debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and maintained the momentum by giving hits like ‘Badmash Company’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. By venturing into production she made a clear statement that she is here to play by her own rules. Right now she is in the golden phase of her career as she is getting the best of offers with the biggest of directors. Her upcoming production venture ‘Pari’ sounds interesting to say the least.

He may be a product of nepotism but he is a blessing to Bollywood in more ways than one. He looks like a Greek god, dances like a dream and most importantly can act to save his life. Despite seeing major highs and lows he has always kept his head high and shoulders broad when it comes to conducting himself in public or staying level headed despite constant adulation and criticism. Outside his home production he has given hits like ‘Dhoom 2’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Agneepath’. Hos debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ is still loved by millions around the world. He is not as consistent in giving hits as one might expect him to but whenever he gets it right, his films strike gold at the box office and gets critical appreciation too.
8. Priyanka Chopra

She is a living proof that if you have the prerequisite talent then the rest is all secondary. Chopra has proved herself to be the most consistent actress of the last decade in Bollywood. Hard working, confident and far-sighted; these are the qualities that have held her in good stead and have made her the darling of the B- town. Be it the sexy siren in ‘Aitraaz’ or the badass FBI trainee in ‘Quantico’ she knows what her audiences expects form her and she happily plays to the gallery when it comes to that. She is also brave enough to try her hand at singing and producing American shows with Indian content.
7. Deepika Padukone

The leggy lass made a dream debut with Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ but the going got tough for her post the initial bout of success. Critics complained that her dialogue delivery is flawed and almost dismissed her as a non actress. It was only after her grey turn as Veronica in ‘Cocktail’ that people started taking her seriously as an actress. She hasn’t looked back since then. In 2013 all her four releases entered the 100 crore club and made her the number one actress of India. After conquering Bollywood she is all set to make a mark in Hollywood and with a hit (xXx: Return of the Xander Cage) already under her kitty she seems to be going in the right direction.
6. Kareena Kapoor

She was already more talented and confident than her sister Karisma Kapoor, when she entered Bollywood. In her first film (Refugee) itself she proved that she can walk the talk when it comes to acting in front of the camera. She took her own sweet time to reach the top but the wait was worth it. With films like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Omkara’ and ‘Golmaal Returns’ she proved that she is a versatile actress and can play any kind of role given a good script and a director. She is taking it a bit slow after becoming a mother but as the saying goes you cannot keep a talented actor down for too long.
