Season 4 of ‘Food Wars’ may not be as original as most fans would expect it to be, but it surely does make you hold your breath with some of its intense Shokugeki. There are certain aspects of this season that make it less enjoyable compared to its predecessors and not to mention, the animation quality has substantially dropped.
Nonetheless, ‘Shokugeki no Souma’ always finds a way to keep us glued to it as viewers, and in the last few moments of Episode 10, it has indeed hyped us up for what could happen next. That being said, we’ll be further discussing all the potential plot points that could be covered in the next episode. But before that, here’s everything that you need to know about its release date and streaming availability.

Food Wars Season 4 Episode 10 Spoilers: What to Expect?
In Episode 10, the stakes get higher than ever and a final battle between the best of the Elites and the Rebels is now underway. While the Elites, as always, show a high level of professionalism and work as a team. Soma and Nakiri of the Rebels do the exact opposite of that. But it turns out that this in itself was one of Soma’s strategies.
Somewhere near the end of the episode, when he intentionally defies Nakiri and goes on ahead to prepare the main course dish instead of an appetizer, he challenges her to prepare a dish that is better than what he has prepared. With this, by challenging his own teammate, he surprises everyone. However, his intention is to set a high standard for her so that she is able to defeat Tsukasa. He tells Nakiri that she must focus on her own specialty because that’s the only way they can possibly defeat their opponents.
The next episode will, for obvious reasons, revolve around Nakiri who will try her best to cook up something that is not only better than Soma’s dish, but is also a level above Tsuaka’s main course. Considering the inconsistent pace of this season, it’s hard to predict how this battle will unfold. However, since this Shokugeki holds a lot of gravity in context with the overarching plot, we can expect an entire episode to predominantly focus on it. Now that Nakiri and Soma have finally come to terms with what they want to do next, we can also expect them to work together as a team. Contrarily, Soma has challenged her to prepare something that is better than his dish. So now that they are competitors, would he help someone who is technically his opponent?
Apart from the episode’s obvious focus on Nakiri, it might also bring in some backstories reflecting on how Nakiri’s relationship with Soma has evolved over the years. This season has also been heavily highlighting the reaction of the judges with hefty fan service.
Since the upcoming battle is one of the most crucial events of the season, we can expect some long and overly imaginative judge reactions in it along with an exaggerated version of Azima’s newly introduced “The Gift” ability. Also, you might have noticed how Azima critiques his daughter in episode 10 after tasting Tsukasa’s dish. This makes it pretty obvious that episode 11 will also shed some light on Nakiri’s relationship with her father; with some more background stories, perhaps. So be warned. There is indeed going to be a whole lot of stripping and foodgasms in the next episode.
