12. Hrithik Roshan as Wolverine
You don’t need anybody’s approval when you have the abs of Hrithik Roshan, along with his angry young man’s impression that we have in our minds. While he may not be as convincing as Hugh Jackman himself (well, who are we kidding?), he will make for a daunting and extremely fierce Wolverine. The claws and the incredible healing capabilities that we’ve been dying to witness in an Indian. And no, I didn’t refer to ‘Krrish 3’ while stating that.
11. Akshay Kumar as Deadpool
I am looking forward to someone as witty and agile as Akshay Kumar for portraying Deadpool. Someone who could make us laugh out so loud while breaking a few bones and spilling a few ounces of blood at the same time. While I am raring to watch him break the fourth wall, being a douchebag and a lousy insane mercenary with exceptional combat skills, I would surely miss Ryan Reynolds for his best work so far that was Deadpool.
10. Randeep Hooda as Black Panther
Playing the famous and filthy rich Wakandan King is a cakewalk for Randeep Hooda, who managed to impress us all with his performance in ‘Sarbjit’. Though he might attract quite an attention with his casting as T’Challa, everything’s gonna be okay once he pulls those crazy stunts and reflexes on the bigger screen.
9. Rajat Kapoor as Doctor Strange
There isn’t any better-resembling Indian actor, both in terms of credibility as well as looks, other than Rajat Kapoor. Though he prefers staying away from all the limelight, his methodical acting abilities and his elegance are widely known and respected. A favourite of the film critics and audiences alike, Rajat is known for his versatile performances in movies like ‘Bheja Fry’, ‘Phas Gaye Re Obama’ and ‘Monsoon Wedding’ to name a few. While Benedict Cumberbatch is widely recognised for his intimidating voice, Rajat’s presence among the Avengers couldn’t be undermined either. Dormammu, could you please initiate a bargain?
8. Tiger Shroff as Loki
Need I say anything? A perfect Doppelganger!!
7. Riteish Deshmukh as Hawkeye
Probably not the most sought-after superheroes, Hawkeye is a subtle addition to the all-powerful Avengers. Riteish is one of the most talented actors of Marathi and Bollywood cinema and certainly an awesome fit for playing the Hawkeye. His one-liners and kickass action sequences are what I would have my money on.
