6. Up in the Air (2009)
A person acting in himself as an HR consultancy firm does the dirty work of firing people from their organizations. The lead played by George Clooney is a frequent traveller by air and making the decisions up in the air always a bearer of sad news to people. The movie presents various scenes of how people react when fired. Soon the lead who has his set goals and happy , feels a sudden change in his thoughts and beliefs after he meets with certain people and circumstances.
7. Under Fire (1983)
Another movie about three journalists fighting for a story in Africa. The movie beautifully shows how interactions between the three changes as the work pressure and time constraints are faced by them. One of them eventually trying to get the interview of a guerrilla leader feels attached to them and executes a fake photography that is against the norms and ethics of journalism. The acting by all the cast is very lively ands hence qualifies as a very good film.
8. The Company Men (2010)
The movie presents a story of a company downsizing it’s employee size to maximize the profit. Two of such fired people are Bobby Walker and Phil Woodward. The movie beautifully depicts the intentions of a corporate in time of difficulties wherein even the most desirable becomes irrelevant. Both of them struggle such a wrath put up on them by the company.
9. American Sniper (2014)
American sniper is an excellent movie which presents a vivid picture of skill sets attached with an army sniper. The movie also touches the after effects that those snipers face after the war is over. Suicide rate is high among those returning from war and the reason is probably portrayed in the film itself.
10. Corporate (2006)
The Bollywood movie shows business rivalry between two well established group of companies over issue of their COLA drink. The presence of pesticide content in the drink leads to a catastrophic image deterioration in a company as a part of its rivals plan. The Company owner persuades the Vice President to take the blame on herself to cover up for the mistake and assure her of release as soon as the matter is out of light. How corporate can play with your life for its motive driven self-centred approach is picturized and the agony of person involved is remarkably portrayed.
