10. Return to Horror High- George Clooney

George Clooney might well be a Superstar in Hollywood, but once upon a time in 1987, George Clooney appeared as a low key policeman in the movie, Return to Horror High. The movie had a lukewarm response, but Clooney is one of the biggest movie names in Hollywood today. His breakthrough role came in the form of Danny Ocean, in the 2001 heist thriller, Ocean’s Eleven. Clooney also has two academy awards to his credit.

 

9. The Long Goodbye: Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Long Goodbye was Arnold’s second film appearance. He plays a bodyguard of Marty Augustine (played by Mark Rhydell) in the 1973 film. His character had no dialogues and was also not credited. That day, who knew that he would become a Hollywood action film icon? Of course, he did. And he went on to become the ward-room poster boy he is today. Schwarzenegger attained worldwide recognition through James Cameron’s 1984 cult classic, The Terminator.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote the script of Good Will Hunting in the early 1990s as an extension of the screenplay, Damon wrote at Harvard. Good Will Hunting is the story of the relationship between a math genius and a laborer Will Hunting. The movie was critically acclaimed and they received their first Academy award. Matt Damon then went on to play the titular role of Jason Bourne in The Bourne series, and Ben Affleck on the other hand, acted in films like Pearl Harbor, and Gone Baby Gone. Both of them are now regarded as Hollywood Superstars.

Tom Hanks is one of the greatest actors that the art of Cinema has ever seen. He has his own trademark of emoting scenes that no one is capable of. On the brink of his ascent to stardom, Tom Hanks starred in a little movie called Big. Critically acclaimed and commercially successful, Big became the movie where it all started for Tom Hanks. He later acted in some all-time classics like Forrest Gump, and Saving Private Ryan. Tom Hanks is a global star today.

The Chosen one of Hollywood, Keanu Reeves, before achieving his Superstardom, acted in a hockey-based movie named Young Blood. He plays a character named Heaver in the largely forgettable sports drama. But, Keanu Reeves went on to act in popular action films like Point Break and Speed.
