6. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Poltergeist
We all love the alien in ET right? But originally ET and ‘Poltergeist’ were in the same movie. And ET was supposed to befriend an autistic kid and torture the entire family. It was the sequel to Close Encounters and was called Night Skies.
5. The Departed
The scene when Jack Nicholson points the gun at DiCaprio in ‘The Departed’ was completely improvised. BTW, the pulled on by Nicholson was a real gun. Poor Leo, he must have wet his pants.
4. Fight Club
In ‘Fight Club’, Edward Norton actually hit Brad Pitt during their first fight. Pitt couldn’t believe what just happened and the reaction of him trying to stop himself laughing was genuine.
3. Pulp Fiction
If you watch closely, in ‘Pulp Fiction’, all the clocks are fixed at 4:20.
2. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
Casting extras in the movie is as important as the casting of the lead actors, they make the scene even more believable. To make the hospital sequence genuine in ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, they hired real mental patients.
1. The Dark Knight
In the scene where Joker pays a visit to Bruce Wayne’s penthouse, it was the first time Michael Caine was seeing Health Ledger in the Joker make-up. In fact, he’d never met even Ledger before, so when Ledger arrived and performed he gave Caine such a fright, he forgot his lines.
