6. Venkatesh
Venkatesh won several praises from crowd and critics for playing a simple village boy in the Bollywood film ‘Anari’ opposite Karishma Kapoor. Though his initial success couldn’t keep up in the long run. The Telugu superstar eventually failed to shine in Bollywood and concentrated on Telugu films instead.
5. Chiranjeevi
Megastar Chiranjeevi had already established himself as an actor in Telugu when he attempted to the same in Bollywood. The Tollywood superstar failed to make a good start in Bollywood with his debut ‘Aaj Ka Goonda Raj’. He failed to create an image among the audience though he attempted several other movies like ‘The Gentleman’ and ‘Pratibandh’.
4. Rana Daggubati
The Telugu superstar is popularly known for his portrayal of Bhallaladeva, antagonist in the ‘Baahubali duology’. Rana Daggubati starred in Bollywood films like ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ and even won accolades for his role. Though he did his best in Bollywood, eventually failed to rise up as a popular actor!
3. Surya
Surya is one of the most versatile actors in the south. Most of his films dare to attempt something different or unique. Surya is a familiar face among Bollywood audience as many of his dubbed movies are popular. Surya tried his luck with RGV’s ‘Raktra Charitra’ as a debut in Bollywood. Though he was well praised for his performance, it did not stir Bollywood quite as much!
2. Prithviraj Sukumaran
The superstar of Malayalam cinema has tried his hand in Bollywood too. But the maturity that he had while choosing Malayalam scripts wasn’t seen when he made a run for the Bollywood. The movie he selected for debut ‘Aiyyaa’ was miserable in every sense. I still wonder how one of the most brilliant actors in mollywood, who has always been known for his mature choice of scripts, ended up committing to a movie like ‘Aiyyaa’. Although he did level up his standards after ‘Aiyya’, none of his movies were able to create an impact.
1. Ram Charan
Ram Charan came into the industry with a tag, the Son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, and that seems like the only thing that has been keeping him glued to the industry. All of his performances lack emotions or depth. It just bad, every time, irrespective of what he attempts. Ram Charan was cast in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s super hit ‘Zanjeer’ to mark his debut in Bollywood. But his father’s stardom and fame didn’t help him in Bollywood. The movie failed miserably and his performance was more terrible than the movie actually was.
