The Family Man Season 2 Release Date

‘The Family Man’ Season 1 premiered in its entirety on September 20, 2019, on Amazon Prime Video. Soon after its release, Amazon Prime announced the renewal of the series for season 2, filming for which began in November 2019. Amidst the coronavirus pandemic causing mayhem worldwide, the making of season 2 was affected significantly. They struggled to push it through to the finish line and fortunately managed to wrap up the shoot in September 2020.

However, ‘The Family Man’ season 2 doesn’t have an official release date, but all the signs point to the fact that it’s gearing up to make its way to the platform sometime soon with the post-production work being in full swing. As far as new additions go, Telugu actress Samantha Akkineni is now a part of the cast of season 2, which marks her digital debut. However, the creators still haven’t disclosed the details about the character she’ll be portraying.

The Family Man Season 2 Plot: What can it be About?

The topsy-turvy-roller-coaster-ride of a first season features Srikant and his team pull all stops to protect the nation from a noxious terrorist Mission Zulfiqar. In the season 1 finale, the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (T.A.S.C.) comes to a crashing realization that Moosa’s fatal plan involves recreating the Bhopal gas Tragedy in the capital New Delhi. The critical final minutes showcases the pressure reaching a life-threatening limit where the toxic gases start leaking. Subsequently, one of the containers bursts open, and the credits roll, leaving the story on a massive cliffhanger.

The season 2 is expected to pick up where season 1 ends and that makes it a promising installment that’s bound to pack in an abundant amount of adrenaline-inducing suspense. Fans reeling from the season 1 finale will get to witness whether T.A.S.C. will be able to save the day or not in the upcoming season.
