When Will The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 12 Premiere?

At this point, with expectations not too high and not too low either, most fans are still watching this season of Seven Deadly Sins because of how interesting its storyline has become. In fact, only from a plot standpoint, if we compare it with the first few seasons, Season 4 is actually doing better. That being said, from what we know about its source material, the next few episodes of the series are going to be a treat for all non-manga readers.

Now that Elizabeth’s memories have returned and almost all the Sins are much stronger than they have ever been, the anime is open to exploring so many new possibilities in the next few episodes. But before we discuss that, let’s first get to the release date and streaming availability of the Episode 12.

The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 12 Release Date

The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 12 will release on December 25, 2019. You can stream the dubbed version of the anime on Funimation. SPOILERS AHEAD!

The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 12 Spoilers: What to Expect?

Near the end of episode 11, Elizabeth returns to her true old form and all of her abilities return to her. Apart from that, instead of entirely focusing upon a physical battle between the Sins and Melascula, it displays more of a mental battle that the Sins have to go through in order to defeat her. Diane, who seems to be the most cheerful and lively character of the series, turns out to be an easy victim for all the dark souls because of how hollow she feels deep inside. The Sins have indeed gone through a lot in the past few episodes, but their fight against evil is far from over.

Zeldris, in episode 11, was a mere trap for Meliodas and was not even half as strong as he should’ve been. While I’m almost certain that the battle between Zeldris and Meliodas will be saved for the last few episodes of this season, I won’t really be surprised if it shows up in the next few episodes. Episode 12 will predominantly focus on Elizabeth’s character. Her memory has returned and she is stronger than she has ever been. However, because of the curse that has been laid on her and Meliodas, she’s is supposed to die soon. Contrarily, since the curse on the two of them has now become a major plot point, they’ll probably be able to lift the curse and somehow be able to save her this time.

Apart from that, since this season has entered a darker arc now, we can expect some character deaths as well. For some reason, I can see some death flags around Escanor’s character but I can’t be too sure about that yet. When it comes to Gowther, in the previous episode, he also revealed some serious mind control abilities when Diane was possessed by the evil souls. Even for Gowther, just like Diane and King, a substantial part of this season was devoted solely to her development. So he will probably have a major role to play later on.

In conclusion, at this point, unless you’re very familiar with the source material, it is hard to predict what might happen next. A lot is one the line for the Sins and the stakes are higher than ever. Not to mention, their enemies are stronger than they have ever been. So despite its slow start, season 4 is now going now getting down with some of the most influential arcs of the storyline. And if all of it is executed well, this might turn out to be one of the best seasons of the series.
