60 Days In Season 6 Episode 13 Recap:

One of the major highlights of episode 13 is Mark, who decides to tap out only after being in the pod for a few days. It is just three episodes into the new, revamped operation inside the Etowah County Jail, and Mark says he has had enough. He transmits an emergency signal on camera to the producers. According to him, when he said yes to the program, he was all geared up to give his best. But currently, his health is not in a good place. Mark further adds that he has issues with his back and neck and his head has been spinning uncontrollably for the past few days. His body is simply not coping up with stress.

The producers ask Mark if there are also psychological reasons behind his condition. But Mark claims that his pain is now more severe than ever. When asked to rate his pain on a scale of 1 to 10, he picks 15 and says that if he remains like this, he might need to get admitted to the hospital. The producers ask him if he wishes to tap out and Mark agrees, although he says that he feels awful about the whole scenario. Finally, the next day, the crew calls a production van and Mark leaves the show.
