All American Season 3 Episode 18 Recap
In the 18th episode of ‘All American’ season 3, titled ‘Int’l Players Anthem (I Choose You),’ Coop is preparing to go on tour now that she has gotten her GED. Spencer, in the meantime, tells the group about his kiss with Olivia. Speaking of which, Olivia, Laura, and Simone’s mother agree to host the rehearsal dinner at The Baker’s home. As Jordan and Simone take care of the seating arrangement, he notices how unusual she has been behaving lately.
Later, Simone reveals she wants to go to Bringston, and Jordan decides to tag along. But his interests deep-down don’t seem to align with hers. Spencer, on the other hand, is shocked to walk into Grace and Principal Carter getting intimate. He also argues with Carter about Crenshaw turning into a magnet school in case they fail to win. This affects his friendship with Grace in the beginning, but they later talk it over.
Layla makes up her mind to go to Vegas with Coop, but Carrie sees this as Layla sabotaging her own individuality. The wedding is finally here, and Spencer makes use of this opportunity to make peace with Carter, but only for the sake of his mother. However, Carter owns up to his mistake soon after. As Simone puts on her wedding dress, she realizes how reckless she has been and spills out all the reasons why she isn’t ready to get married just yet. So they agree to take a step back and go back to being boyfriend-girlfriend.
Jordan and Simone’s decision not to tie the knot influences Billy to propose to Laura again, and they end up getting married. In the end, the board cancels their plans to turn Crenshaw into a magnet school. Over a phone with Carrie’s mom, Layla finds out that her friend wasn’t kicked out of the house, unlike what she claimed. Spencer reveals that he wants Olivia to recover before closing the gap between them, but she is still willing to give it a shot.
