Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 Episode 19 Recap:

In episode 19, an overly enthusiastic Richard is informed by Maggie at the hotel that Meredith won’t be able to attend his speech and that she was extremely sorry for her absence. Apparently, Mer’s babysitter is sick. Cormac is the next to arrive and after Richard heads back to his room, he is surprised with the arrival of Catherine. She admits that she wishes to fix everything that had gone wrong between them.

Meanwhile, Maggie meets a former resident from Tufts, Winston. He claims that he had attended the conference thrice but never had he seen her once. Maggies asks: “What are you, stalking me?” Winston replies: “Not stalking .. seeking.” It is also revealed that he had had a crush on her since their days at Tufts.

Later, Teddy and Cormac share a few drinks and recollect some fond memories. After Cormac leaves, Teddy comes face to face with Claire, and again, there are flashbacks into their past. Finally, Richard delivers his speech and Winston asks Maggie to move back to Boston. He also suggests that he himself shift to Seattle. But Maggie says that she needs time to make a decision. Winston replies: “Get a focus group together. I just don’t think I’m gonna feel any differently about this in a few hours or a few months. But you, do you.”
