The third season of Netflix’s ‘My Life With the Walter Boys‘ continues to explore the complex relationships of the Walter family, particularly the one between Alex, Jackie, and Cole. After the revelatory ending of Season 2, Alex decides to remove himself from the love triangle, which leaves the ground open for Jackie and Cole to be together. However, it is one thing to pine for each other and another to be in a functional relationship. By the end of the season, Cole finds himself in a tough spot, while Jackie and Alex find themselves in another love triangle, one where they are not involved with each other.
The third season ends on a massive cliffhanger, which will be resolved in the fourth season. Netflix greenlit the series in May 2026, and the cast and crew have already reunited to start filming in Calgary, Canada. The show’s creators intend to keep following the yearly release pattern. Considering the release schedule of the past two seasons, ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ Season 4 is expected to premiere in August 2027. SPOILERS AHEAD.
My Life With the Walter Boys Season 4 Will Further Complicate the Love Triangles
‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ is based on the book of the same name by Ali Novak. While there are two books in the series, the show has not only surpassed the source material but also created its own storylines that have taken on a life of their own. The fourth season will continue on that path as new original plotlines emerge, causing confusion, chaos, and heartbreak for the characters. The primary conflict in the show has almost always revolved around a love triangle, and the fourth season will continue with that pattern. However, the love interests will be different this time around. To begin with, Jackie, once again, has two romances to consider.

The first is with Cole, the guy she has been in love with since the beginning, who has now suffered a car crash and will be spending some time in the hospital. The second is with Eliot, the guy she spent her childhood with in New York, who has now returned to show her the life that she could still have. The fourth season will further delve into this complicated dynamic. Meanwhile, Alex got out of a love triangle with Cole and Jackie to find himself in another one with Kiley and Dylan. He and Kiley have been best friends since childhood, but it is only in Season 3 that Alex realizes he has non-platonic feelings for her. He eventually acts on it by kissing her, but doesn’t handle the aftermath well. Now, he has to find a way to fix things with Kiley before he can win her heart from Dylan.
Meanwhile, other Walters also have new things to look forward to. Danny and Erin have been going strong, but their romance is not without speed bumps. It turns out that Nate has decided to join his band on their European tour, which suggests we might not see much of him next season. But clearly, there are still some feelings between him and Skylar, which might be explored further down the line. In the same vein, Will and Hayley’s move to Atlanta means they might also remain out of sight the next time around. Isaac and Lee get more screen time this season with the arrival and subsequent departure of their mother, Hannah. It remains to be seen whether she will be back for next season or if we will finally get to see their father in the picture.
My Life With the Walter Boys Season 4 Will Bring New Characters Into the Mix
With every season, ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ has stirred things up with the arrival of new characters, and the same is expected to continue in Season 4. New love interests and rivals are likely to emerge as certain storylines get resolved, while others are even more tangled up. The main cast will remain in the show, with Nikki Rodriguez, Ashby Gentry, and Noah LaLonde as Jackie, Alex, and Cole. With Eliot becoming another love interest for Jackie, Naveen Paddock might have a more prominent part to play next season. Meanwhile, Marc Blucas and Sarah Rafferty as George and Katherine will remain the guardians of the Walter clan.

Characters like Connor Stanhope’s Danny, Alisha Newton’s Erin, Mya Lowe’s Kiley, Ellie O’Brien’s Grace, Jaylan Evans’ Skylar, and Kolton Stewart’s Dylan will return as major cast members. Other supporting characters, such as Alex Quijano’s Richard, Ashley Tavares’ Tara, Isaac Arellanes’ Isaac, and Myles Perez’s Lee, are also expected to return. Given the direction their storyline will take, Corey Fogelmanis’ Nathan, Johnny Link’s Will, Dean Petriw’s Jordan, Alix West Lefler’s Parker, and Lennix James’ Benny might take on recurring roles in Season 4. Similarly, the presence of characters like Natalie Sharp’s Blake, Erin Karpluk’s Hannah, and Chad Rook’s Mac will also be decided by the roles they still have to play in the lives of the Walter boys.
