Alice, played by Dakota Johnson, wants to take a break from her long relationship, in order to discover the life as a single person. She befriends an outgoing and party lover colleague, Robin, played by Rebel Wilson. The film follows Alice’s life as she deals with the loss of a relationship she let go of and coming to terms with other people’s lives and problems. Wilson’s Robin is a girl who likes partying and one-night stands. Her light-heartedness helps Alice through various ordeals.

This Australian comedy-drama was centered around the profession of pizza delivery and the dangers that come with it. Woven around a rather simple premise, the show intelligently added the issues like ethnic and racial differences, drugs, and violence at its core. Rebel Wilson played the role of a Lebanese drug dealer’s girlfriend. She is shown to suffer from eating disorders and other personality traits that create problems for her boyfriend.

Jennie Cragg, played by Rebel Wilson, has a lot of problems in her life. She is fat, and her mother is fatter! She has a crush on the hot neighbor that she doesn’t have a chance with. Skanky girls at school give her hell. Her friends aren’t exactly making things easier for her, anyway. She decides to enter a dance competition to overcome her financial troubles, as well as, other problems that sour her life.

In what turned out to be her breakout role, Rebel Wilson portrayed the character of a member of an all-girl a cappella group, the Barden Bellas. Beca Mitchell wants to pursue a career in music, but her father wants her to go to college. Following her father’s wish, Beca joins the music group in college. While she was determined to ease out of it and convince her father that college is not for her, she actually begins to enjoy her life with the group. Wilson played the role of Patricia aka Fat Amy. The film received critical and commercial success. The whole cast of the film was applauded for their performances. Wilson was singled out for adding her distinctive comic touch to the film.
