Critics play an important role in defining a film’s place in the pages of the history of cinema. When you look at some of the most well-remembered and well-respected movies of all time, most, if not all, were very well reviewed. At least, you can give critics the credit to set the ball rolling on films they identify as special and then, that allows general audiences to catch up on those films later. With that in mind, we came with a list of 10 best-reviewed movies of this century. We considered the scores from the two prime sources of review aggregating sites — Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic — and then, ranked the movies based on their average scores. (In case of a tie, Metacritic score was given the preference).
