We have entered the proper horror territory now. The scenes are getting spookier and we are getting scared for the characters. The bogeyman, or El Cuco, or the Outsider, is now coming to the forefront, instead of just witnessing the havoc from a distance. By far, we had seen it just feed off of the grief, but now, it looks like the Outsider is ready to create more grief. What remains to be seen is who will the next victims be.
It paid a visit to both Jeannie and Tamika, which means it is getting desperate to put this case to rest. While the rest are still caught up in the logical explanations, Holly has steered the investigation towards the monster. In the next episode, we hope she gets everyone on board. Let’s find out when the sixth episode will air and what it has in store for us.

Holly finally comes to Cherokee, armed with the knowledge from New York and Dayton. It might take some convincing to make Ralph accept that his usual methods will not lead him to the root of this case, but at least, she knows exactly what they are up against. Now, she just has to find a way to stop the Outsider. In the fifth episode, Yunis Sablo showed that he is not against keeping an open mind, especially when there is so much that can’t be made sense of. If not her ally, he surely will be Holly’s advocate.
Jeannie has been terrorised by the Outsider, and she will make the connections through Holly’s theory. Ralph, on the other hand, will need more convincing, and only a drastic incident or discovery will lead him to accept that there is something supernatural about this case. We just hope another child doesn’t have to die for this.
With Holly in Cherokee, the Outsider has another problem to take care of. By far, it had only been targeting the Maitlands and the Andersons. Now, Holly Gibney is another challenge, and she will not be an easy one to deal with. It might finally call upon Jack to do something bad, most probably kill, or perhaps, frame someone. In the last episode, Jack tried to make amends with Ralph and wanted in on the investigation. Maybe, the Outsider wanted him to do it. Maybe, it wants to know what exactly Ralph and Holly have found out.
Another little detail that we should hold on to is Andy finding out about the connection that Holly has made between the three cases. This could lead him to dig up another crucial piece of the puzzle, and it pains me to say it, but the Outsider might kill him to make Holly suffer.
