‘90 Day Fiance’ is a reality show that features couples who are each given 90 days after application/approval of the K-1 visa of their significant other, to decide whether or not they want to spend the rest of their lives together. While some develop cold feet, others go ahead and tie the knot. Anny and Robert belong to the latter category.
But it has not been a smooth road for the couple. Anny and Robert have had their share of arguments over money, lifestyle, sex, exes, family, etc. and they have managed to survive through it all. But are they still together, you may ask? Well, we have got you covered in that regard. Here’s a quick look back at their journey on ‘90 Day Fiance’ season 7 on TLC.
Robert and Anny: 90 Day Fiance Journey
Anny (30) and Robert Springs (41) met online and spoke to each other via texts, phone calls, and video calls for half a year until Robert decided it was time to meet in person. Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Robert took a cruise to visit the Dominican Republic, and after spending less than 10 hours together, he popped the question to Anny. Although initially shocked, Anny gladly accepted the proposal, and they left for the US, where Robert filed for Anny’s K-1 visa.
Soon after, their relationship took a weird turn, as Robert realized he and Anny are far more different than he imagined. After Anny expressed her desire to have a luxurious lifestyle that comprises expensive clothes, partying, a Miami Beach wedding, Robert began to question his decision. So, Robert made it very clear to Anny that he already shoulders enough responsibilities, as he is a father to five kids from four different women. Therefore, he can’t afford to give her the lavish lifestyle she is hoping for.
However, things didn’t end there. Anny entered into a war of words with Robert’s son Bryson’s grandparents, Ben and Stephanie Woodcock, who is also an adult film star, Diamond Foxxx. Robert sided with Anny on this one. She was even offended by Robert’s brother Kenny’s questions. Anny also made Robert delete all the photos he had with all his baby mamas. Moreover, she had an issue with the size of his home, among many other things. Robert assured her he had put the reckless and wild life, behind him and just wants a good wife who wants a decent husband.
He told Anny, “It’s us against the world.” The couple ultimately decided to go through with the wedding, which saw Robert, on his knees, proposing Anny with a ring. Their wedding was an emotional yet fun-filled affair.
Are Robert and Anny Still Together?
Much to the dismay of people who said this marriage was doomed to fail, Anny and Robert are stronger than ever. Anny has adapted to Robert’s lifestyle and loves spending time with his son Bryson. Robert, too, is trying hard to be a responsible husband towards Anny.
Since the two like to keep a low online presence, here’s a fan-made collage of some fun moments Anny spent with Robert’s son Bryson, on account of Bryson’s fifth birthday. In the video on the bottom right, Robert can be seen giving fans some “birthday love, shout-outs, holiday wishes” and anything they want.
On February 8, 2020, Robert, Anny and Bryson were spotted at Monkey Joe’s, which is a play area for kids. They were accompanied by the production unit of ‘90 Day Fiance.’ The caption read, “Spotted filming at Monkey Joe’s (kids play and party place): Robert, Anny, and Bryson! Guess we’re gonna see them on Happily Ever After?” In the rest of the photos, you can clearly see them filming for a confessional. It is highly likely that they would appear on ’90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?’
Well, there is still time for that to happen. For now, we are just glad these two worked out their differences and are enjoying their time as husband and wife.
