What is Jolt About?
Lindy is just another ordinary woman, except when she is enraged, things begin to fall apart. In her murderous wrath, she almost acts like a superhuman, flinging her enemies like flies and fighting until she gets what she wants. Even as a child, she recalls struggling with the same anger management issues, and in all these years, nothing has changed. She now works as a bouncer but realizing that it’s time for her to get help, Lindy meets a specialist psychiatrist named Dr. Munchin. On his recommendation, Lindy receives a specially designed electrode-lined vest which gives her a shock whenever she experiences her homicidal rage.
Luckily, it does help her to an extent as her life slowly begins to drift towards normalcy. However, things don’t really last long that way for her as Justin, an accountant who she likes, is murdered. Devastated by the incident, she decides to take it upon herself to find and punish the culprits responsible for the heinous crime, which irks police officers Vicars and Nevin, who are already working on the case and even suspect Lindy of doing the unthinkable. But who really murders Justin? Does Lindy ever find out?
