Since Mallorie DeGrange’s parents divorced when she was just a young girl, and she never had any other positive examples of relationships growing up, she was ready for the single life. The Athens, Alabama, native had tied the knot with the person she believed was her forever at the young age of 19 after a few years together, but their union crashed and burned within a year. She thus decided to do her own thing and embrace singlehood, unaware she would eventually end up meeting the actual love of her life in Raşit Kebabçı, as explored in TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ season 12.
Mallorie DeGrange and Raşit Kebabçı Were One of the Strongest Couples of the Season
Mallorie DeGrange was on a girls’ trip in Greece in the summer of 2023 when she came across fellow traveler and professional charter boat captain Raşit Kebabcı by pure chance on an online dating app. They had a great night together, but she didn’t think anything would come of it because they lived thousands of miles apart – while she’s a Southerner, he’s a native of Marmaris, Turkey. However, he was hooked: not only was he physically attracted to her, but he also knew they shared an incredible connection, so he became persistent in his pursuit of romance with her.
Mallorie claims Raşit earnestly texted her, called her, and video-called whenever possible, only for her to initially give him a hard time out of fear stemming from her past run of bad relationships. He eventually wore her down, though, resulting in them starting to seriously date online and building a solid foundation based on their core beliefs, future expectations, and intrinsic values. The couple remained long-distance until she managed to visit him in Turkey for 2½ weeks in the winter of 2024, where she met all his loved ones, l experienced his culture, and was proposed to.
Mallorie and Raşit spent the ensuing 6 months planning their future, including securing his K-1 Fiancé visa because they had already decided it would be best for them if he relocated to the US. They had some very authentic conversations along the way, as they understood the transition wouldn’t be easy for either, but he definitely struggled more with the differences after the move. As anticipated, they had to navigate some issues regarding her tight-knit friendship with an ex-fling, but what really impacted their bond were the topics of children and the prenuptial agreement.
Mallorie DeGrange and Raşit Kebabçı Are Likely Enjoying Life as Newlyweds
Although Mallorie and Raşit had already had many discussions about how they wanted their future to look like, it wasn’t until he was in the US that s he opened up about possibly never wanting kids. The information came as a complete shock to him because he’d already been quite vocal about his desire to be a father and have a family, so much so that he asserted it was a deal-breaker for him. Thankfully, following a bit of a rough patch, they were able to respectfully talk about the reasons behind their respective standings and reach a compromise so as to move forward for good.
Mallorie and Raşit’s relationship took another hit around a month before their wedding, as they argued and disagreed over some financial matters. While tensions were already high after he asked her for help supporting his family back home in Turkey, they came to a boil when she asked him to sign a prenup. She indicated that she had no issues with helping, but she also wanted to protect herself and the home she had bought in 2022 after working her butt off for years from whatever the future may hold.
Instead of hearing Mallorie’s explanation on how the prenup was a direct result of the scars left by her past marriage, Raşit took it as a sign of her not loving him and already thinking of divorce. The couple then got into a fight because this was a non-negotiable for her, since she never wanted to feel controlled or dependent on anyone ever again. Thankfully, they were once again able to have a productive conversation after calming down, leading them to reach another compromise based on mutual trust and respect. Therefore, from what we can tell, Mallorie and Raşit happily tied the knot in the fall of 2025 and are currently building a new life together in Athens, Alabama, enjoying all the benefits of love as well as matrimony.

A native of Alabama, Mallorie kick-started her career in 2017 as a Medical Billing Specialist at MyEyeDr, where she delved deeper into the industry and found her calling as a Medical Coder.
