‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Trailer 2 with Spoiler Warning!

The second trailer of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home‘ is here and it gives a sneak peek into the aftermath of ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ Sony and Marvel Studios have released the second trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ which holds a potential spoiler alert because numerous links lead to ‘Endgame.’ The new trailer shows mysterious Mysterio in a new light, as a human being teaming up with Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Moreover, they bring Spider-Man to help, far from home!

As the first trailer revealed, ‘Far From Home’ introduces the new villains, the Elementals and the shadowy Mysterio. However, trailer 2 gives Mysterio more space and puts him in more light and action. The most intriguing fact in the new trailer is the concept of alternate universes, in other words, time travel. Mysterio battles with Elementals on an alternate version of Earth and the Elementals are also hailing from an alternate universe.

Here, ‘Far From Home’ hides its major connection to ‘Endgame.’ The MCU has this multiverse concept in ‘Endgame,’ all over. And, here comes the next. The second trailer opens up with Peter is still mourning the loss of Tony Stark.

“Everywhere I go, I see his face,” says Peter. “I just really miss him.”

Tony’s partner Happy Hogan misses him too. “I don’t think Tony would’ve done what he did if he didn’t know that you would be here after he was gone.” Obviously, we see Peter embracing the Iron Spider suit designed by Stark. We can also see traces of ‘Tony’ inspirations on him. A tribute to his mentor, maybe. To underline our suspicions, a New York cop asks him, “You gonna be the next Iron Man now?”

But Peter isn’t quite ready for that. Instead, he goes to Europe with his friends, Jacob Batalon’s Ned and Zendaya’s MJ. “Peter’s ready for a vacation at the beginning of this movie, to say the least,” director Jon Watts told EW.

Then comes Happy’s voice. “You do not ghost Nick Fury!” says a horrified Happy. But Fury has his own ways to reach out Peter. Moreover, he recruits Peter for a mission, to stop the Elementals who can manipulate nature and unleash horror across Europe.

And, Peter is not alone in this battle. Fury introduces him to Quentin Beck or Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. We see him as a man with magical powers who comes from another Earth! “You’re saying there’s a multiverse?” asks Peter. Trailer 2 also reveals the Elementals as the four elements, earth, wind, fire and water. They wreak havoc as a rock monster, the fire guy, water giant and a lightning storm.

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker with Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, Cobie Smulders as ex-S.H.E.I.L.D. agent Maria Hill and Samuel L. Jackson as the former chief of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury. The other cast includes Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, and Marisa Tomei.
