Now, things take a different turn as Chiyo ends up becoming the assistant of the Mangaka. The series follows her everyday life as she tries to deal with her new set of responsibilities. The plot also offers some nice humor and will keep you invested in it till the very end.

4. Seitokai Yakuindomo (2010)
‘Seitokai Yakuindomo‘ slice of life shounen anime which takes place in a school setting. It is a light-hearted anime which is interesting, funny and entertaining. The anime has a total of 13 episodes with each episode being 24 minutes in length. So yeah, you can binge it easily. ‘Seitokai Yakuindomo’ and ‘D-Frag!’ give off a similar vibe. This is what happens to Takatoshi Tsuda. He enrolls in Ousai Private Academy which has recently become coed being an all-girl academy previously. On his first day, he is caught by the student council president for wearing an untidy uniform. Later, to apologize to him for making him late for his first-class she makes him the vice president. The anime revolves around the eccentric members of the student council who act normal but actually have a freaky side to them.
3. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (2012)
‘Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou‘ is one of the best slice of life anime out there. It is funny and easily relatable. Every episode has multiple setups for funny situations and lots of puns and jokes. The series is a better version of ‘D-Frag!.’ But if you want an anime which has a serious romance plot then this anime might not satisfy you. The series does share certain similarities with ‘D-Frag’ Both shows take place in a school setting while being refreshingly funny and entertaining. The characters are enjoyable and the animation is pretty decent.
‘Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou’ deals mainly with four characters. Three of the characters are male and close friends named Hidenori, Yoshitake and Tadakuni. They attend Sanada North High School which is an all-boys institution. The boys are very imaginative and often indulge in grand fantasies with themes of true love and giant robots. But in real life, they are just an ordinary bunch of teenagers trying to get by life. But that doesn’t mean that their days are any less interesting than a good RPG game or an entertaining movie.

It is a slice of life anime which takes place mainly in a school setting and deals with comedy, romance, Harem, and Hcchi stuff. So, if such things interest you, then you should give it a try. The premise of ‘Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai’ and ‘D-Frag!’ are kind of similar. They both take place in a school setting. Both have their male leads fall into a club which is weird and has eccentric female members. These two anime try their best to be as funny as possible.
Kodaka Hasegawa’s past experiences in school aren’t any good. So, when he learns that he is being transferred to another school, the boy is determined not to screw up at the new place. But he is an unfortunate fellow since on the very first day people start judging him for his looks and label him a delinquent. A month passes by and the situation remains the same. But then Kodaka finds Yozora Mikazuki who is also a loner tagged as a delinquent. Together they share their stories of loneliness and agreed upon to form a club for people like them. Soon, members start coming and each of them is sort of an ‘odd-one-out.’ The anime is fun and if you enjoyed ‘D-Frag!’, you might like this one too.

‘Gj-bu’ is another slice of life anime which revolves around school-life and is light-hearted at the core. The goal of the anime is to make you laugh and relax. The series has a total of 12 episodes with each episode being around 23 minutes in length. The anime is very similar to ‘D-Frag!.’ Both give off similar vibes and have a similar premise which includes characters with odd personalities and a weird club with eccentric members.
The anime features a male character who gets reeled into a club which is sort of an obscure ensemble filled with eccentric members. He feels like a fish out of water in the club which consists of weird female characters. His life is going to be quite interesting at this club.
