Abhiroop Das
Abhiroop has had a fascination with books since he was a kid. As he grew up, he kept on reading and acting out characters from mythological tales. The realization that stories can provide a frame to viscera came to him in the final minutes of ‘Mulholland Drive,’ which he obsessed over for four weeks until he had extracted meaning out of every frame. Gradually, this obsession turned into a tryst with the form of narrative itself. Now, Abhiroop’s passion drives him through written words, blank and overwritten pages, cinema, anime, video games, and finally, finding an expression in The Cinemaholic.
