With reality dating series’ being all the craze across the globe over the past few years, it comes as no surprise Netflix’s Korean-based ‘Single’s Inferno’ also has a massive fan following. After all, it follows a group of attractive, flirty, and young individuals as they hope to find love on a deserted island that they can only escape for dates upon matching up with someone. So now that season 4 of this installment has premiered in its entirety – debuting over five parts from January 14, 2025, to February 11, 2025 – here’s what we know about the current standing of its cast.
Bae Ji-Yeon and Kim Te-Hwan Have Seemingly Parted Ways
While there was a brief period when Bae Ji-Yeon and Kim Te-Hwan seemed like an idyllic fit, things changed as they got to know one another, and their differences began coming to light. The primary one was the fact the former’s dream is to get married and have a family one day, whereas the latter doesn’t ever plan on going down this route as he has different priorities. Nevertheless, they still chose one another at the time of the final decision, believing they could possibly give their connection a try out in the real world to see if they could be a good fit in the long run.
But alas, from what we can tell through their respective social media platforms, Bae Ji-Yeon and Kim Te-Hwan weren’t able to make things work as they seemingly don’t even stay in touch anymore. Coming to their personal standing, the 25-year-old is a professional spatial designer, hobbyist horseback rider, and fitness enthusiast who has recently also begun dabbling in the world of professional modeling as well as influencing. As for the 31-year-old artist, he is an actor in the Chinese drama ‘My Amazing Boyfriend,’ a DJ, and the proud owner of an underground nightclub through which he hopes to make hip-hop mainstream in Korea.
Kim A-Rin and Kook Dong-Ho Are Likely Still Dating
Despite the fact Kim A-Rin and Kook Dong-Ho kept missing one another in the initial few days of this experiment, they really only had their eyes set on one another. Even when two other singles expressed their interest in him and took him to Paradise a couple of times, he returned determined to be with the woman who made his heart skip a beat from day one. Therefore, when they finally got to go to Paradise together, it felt like fate, particularly as they learned they actually reside in the same neighborhood and often work in the same office building.
So, of course, Kim A-Rin and Kook Dong-Ho picked one another without any hesitancy during the final day of matching, and we’re happy to report that it appears as if they are still blissfully together. Neither of them has explicitly confirmed or denied anything as of writing, yet their Instagram profiles give us some clues, especially with them recently posting pictures together. On an individual note, we should mention they both seem to be thriving today in their respective careers as a 25-year-old Commercial Model and a 30-year-old Certified Chartered Public Accountant (CPA).
Kim Hye-Jin and An Jong-Hoon Could Possible Still Be Together
Kim Hye-Jin was one of the other single’s who initially had an interest in Kook Dong-Ho, but things changed for her once An Jong-Hoon came into the picture and charmed her with his sincerity. Thus, she was one of the many who chose him as the bombshell to join their cast halfway, just for him to return the favor by asking her to be his first Paraside date, alongside Lee Si-an. That’s when they really got to know one another on a deeper level, which they continued even upon returning to Inferno as they realized they could really be something in the real world in the long run.
Hence, it came as no surprise when Kim Hye-Jin and An Jong-Hoon unabashedly picked one another as their final match before walking away hand in hand, only to seemingly manage to maintain their connection. We say this because their cozy and comfortable stint throughout the original production makes it highly likely they are still involved yet keeping things on the down low for personal reasons. Coming to their personal standing, while Miss Korea 2020 is a proud model as well as an aspiring K-Pop idol at the age of 25, the fitness enthusiast is a restaurant owner who has also started dabbling as a model these days.
Lee Si-An and Yuk Jun-Seo Have Seemingly Made Their Bond Work
If we’re being honest, Lee Si-An was arguably the star of this installment, considering she had not one, not two, but three men vying for her care and affection at every step of the way. She truly had Jang Theo, Kim Jeong-Su, as well as Yuk Jun-Seo at her fingertips, but she too had feelings for them all, which made the entire journey quite emotionally draining for her. However, it was only with the latter, the “macho” “beast,” that she could completely be herself without any worries, making her realize she had a deep, natural romantic connection solely with him.

As for their individual standing, the former is a 25-year-old freelance model who also has an affinity for traveling, whereas the latter is a 28-year-old family-oriented former UDT soldier turned actor, painter, as well as a television personality.
Jang Theo is a Professional Actor
Born Jang The-oh, the 29-year-old took up the stage name Theo when he decided to pursue his passion for acting full-time in the hopes of one day becoming a well-known Hollywood star. However, today, it appears as if the Kyung Hee University Business School graduate splits his time between Seoul in Korea, Hong Kong in China, and New York in the US to hone his skills. He already has credits across various platforms in several Asian countries, yet he is determined to thrive in the West too, all the while still keeping up with his hobbyist classical pianist standing.
Kim Min-Seol is a Passionate Sportscaster
Although Kim Min-Seol was quite unlucky in love in this Netflix show, as the man she was interested in viewed her as nothing more than a little sister, she is definitely not unlucky in life. After all, having had a keen interest in sports from an early age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in a similar field, driving her to work hard, prove her mettle, and establish a name for herself as a sports anchor. As if that’s not enough, it appears as if she has recently also begun expanding her wings into the mainstream entertainment industry by trying her hand at professional modeling, where she is thriving too.
Kim Jeong-Su is an Entrepreneur in Every Sense of the Term
At the age of 33, Kim Jeong-Su was not only the eldest cast member of this installment of the production but arguably also the most successful. That’s because he is the proud owner and operator of five cafes/eateries in South Korea, all of which focus on different vibes with different cuisines. So, of course, despite the fair share of challenges he has faced over the years, it’s evident he has established a name for himself in the food and beverage industry. Furthermore, he is a self-proclaimed artist who has seemingly already modeled for, worked with, or been associated with some incredible brands like Diesel, Cartier, Bvlgari, and Boss, amongst many more.
Chung You-Jin is a Professional Dancer
Like some of her fellow cast members, Chung You-Jin didn’t have much success in ‘Single’s Inferno,’ yet she doesn’t regret any aspect of her journey since it has given her a real insight into what she desires from a partner and life. Thus, it appears as if the 28-year-old has decided that until she really finds someone worth her time, she will simply focus on herself as well as her career as a dancer. On a more personal note, we should mention she is also a hobbyist free diver, travel enthusiast, and dog mom, meaning that whenever she is not working, she is spending quality time with loved ones in the most beautiful places.
