3. Primer
Primer was an intelligently conceived idea of Shane Carruth. It delves into the topic of time paradoxes and a focused narrative of rewriting history. Itis a synchronized event incapable of changing no matter how much a time traveller tries to change history. They become aware of time as a coverup with no originality in making changes. As time travellers, the protagonists are unable to make significant changes to the timeline. In spite of them trying, with one them caught in a time loop.
Primer received positive reception from the critics and was praised for its scientific accuracies. The principles of time travel in the film are inspired by Feynman diagrams which postulates the interaction of elementary particles. Primer is about two intellectual engineers Aaron and Abe accidentally inventing a time machine. With Abe then building a version capable of transporting a human. As the two friends obsess over their creation, they discover the dark consequences of their actions.
