Raising Dion Season 2 Cast: Who is in it?
Alisha Wainwright portrays Nicole Reese, while Ja’Siah Young essays the character of Nicole’s son, the titular Dion. Jazmyn Simon appears as Nicole’s older sister Kat. Sammi Haney is cast as Esperanza Jimenez, who becomes Dion’s best friend after he starts attending a new school. Jason Ritter portrays Pat Rollins. Additionally, Michael B. Jordan, who is one of the executive producers of the series, plays Nicole’s husband and Dion’s father, Mark Warren, in some episodes of the show. Raising Dion Season 2 Plot: What can it be About?
In the final episode of ‘Raising Dion’ season 1, it is discovered that Pat is actually the main villain of the series, the Crooked Man. He has gained his powers because he, too, was present at the aurora event in Iceland in 2010. He is afflicted with the same disease as the flora and fauna of Iceland is after the event, and it’s gradually killing him. The only way he can survive is by absorbing other people with abilities into himself through his storm-like powers. He accidentally absorbed Mark while targeting another person with abilities, Charlotte Tuck.
When he finds out that Dion can potentially heal him, he becomes even more obsessed with him and Nicole. He finally absorbs Charlotte, who has been helping Dion with his abilities and subsequently tries to use the boy to cure himself. However, Dion defeats him with the help of his friends and mother. Mark appears before his wife and child, finally free along with other souls whose powers were absorbed by Pat. Dion promises him that he will find a way to bring him back to life. Elsewhere, the storm-like essence that was inside Pat takes control of Brayden Mills, who, like Dion, has inherited his powers from his father.
In ‘Raising Dion’ season 2, we can expect a confrontation between two second-generation gifted individuals, Dion and Brayden. There’s a high chance that Dion might succeed in bringing his father back. We might also find out if Pat is gone for good. The series might continue to focus on Nicole’s struggles as she raises her uniquely talented son, all by herself!
